Last year Lights Up Productions staged a sequence of sell - out shows as well as performances all over Kent. We performed at Lounge on the Farm - Kent’s biggest musical festival, wedding singing and summer holiday events. This was followed by our biggest and most ambitious production to date - FOOTLOOSE The Musical. This Easter we presented the South-East Premiere of the musical WHEN MIDNIGHT STRIKES, which was performed to the composer and original London director of the piece.

Lights Up Productions was founded in June 2007 by Max Reynolds and William Pearce. It is a truly unique company unlike any other in South East Kent because we will provide the skills, training and experience for aspiring professional performers. We aim to demonstrate the skills learnt to audiences in either a showcase event or a production. Lights Up Productions will give the opportunities to performers to provide a mixture of in-house performances, external events/ invitations and CD recordings in a studio.

The standard of performances at Lights Up Productions is semi-professional NOT amateur. The work produced will have West End quality so that members can get experience and training in professional production standards. This means that we look for students who have the standard and discipline to become a professional performer. At Lights Up we aim to train our performing artists in different types of theatre, such as open-air plays, musicals, showcase/variety performance events, dance competitions and workshop productions.

Above all, Lights Up Productions is a fun way to develop your skills in the performing arts and to make new friends who have the same interest as you. We want you to enjoy yourselves so that you can further your abilities in all aspects of performance and to give you the opportunity to help be a part of professional standard shows.
